This is a true classic tea from Menghai Tea Factory. It has been stored in Malaysia for 11 years before we included it in our stock. The cake was tightly compressed but has already loosened a bit with age. It is highly infusible and will go more than 10 rounds.

The tea consists of plantation raw material that is brutal in character and it is made for long term aging. Time has mellowed the tea a lot and darkened its character, yet it remains powerful. Its rawness is still present and it carries strength and vigour. Flavours of woody smoke and waves of bitter astringency leaves the mouth slightly numb.
