This cake was produced by the revered Chen Sheng Tea Factory in the spring of 2011. The cake is made from the highest quality leaves from old tea trees from Lao Ban Zhang village in Bulang mountain, Menghai country, Xishuangbanna in Yunnan, China.

In China Lao Ban Zhang is famously referred as the King of Raw Pu-erh tea. The flavour of the raw and fresh tea is uniquely strong with bold, complex taste.

This cake has been aged for 6 years and has become very mellow, gentle and subtle with I high cha-chi that stimulate the upper parts of the central nervous system.
